I Have Crept In

Kirk Gauthier Hauntingly beautiful and eerily paranoia-provoking, this is a splendid debut. Listening to it, I envision walking through an unfamiliar city on a chilly, cloudy, slightly foggy day. Few people are on the street, but they are all walking quickly with their heads down and refuse to speak. Almost like the score to a short film. If you haven’t checked this out yet, do yourself a favor and do so now. Favorite track: Terminal Beach.

about

Treated electric piano explorations inspired by early ambient music, contemporary classical music, electric jazz, Japanese free jazz, empty amphitheaters and wet concrete, looming self-storage complexes, seaside towns, fine rain blowing in ceaselessly off the coast, the very early morning.

Crooked Light

dimly lit, electric piano led, jazz infused ambient for foggy cobbles, dawn woods, drizzly beaches, city heat haze, the night.
